Sports journalist Andy Kerm of Kessben Sports has questioned what he considers an inconsistency in the Ghana Football Association's (GFA) approach to transportation arrangements for football clubs and the country's national teams.
According to a report by Kessben TV on Friday, November 6, 2026, Kerm expressed surprise over reports that GFA President Kurt Okraku and members of his Executive Council share buses with football clubs, while the association continues to emphasise the need for dedicated buses for Ghana's national teams.
Speaking on Kessben Maakye, the journalist questioned why the football governing body's leadership appeared comfortable sharing transportation with clubs while demanding separate buses for the national teams.
He argued that the situation raises concerns about the consistency of the association's position and the standards it expects to maintain across different levels of Ghanaian football.
Expressing his concerns, Andy Kerm stated: “It's interesting to see the GFA President, Kurt Okraku, and his Exco sharing buses to clubs but demanding a bus for our National teams,”
His comments have brought renewed attention to transportation facilities and logistical arrangements within Ghana football.
The provision of dedicated buses for national teams has been a subject of discussion, particularly regarding the need to provide players and technical officials with reliable and comfortable transportation during competitions and other official engagements.
However, Kerm's argument has shifted attention towards the transportation arrangements involving GFA officials and football clubs, raising questions about the association's priorities and resource allocation.
The remarks are likely to generate further reactions among football supporters, especially those interested in how the GFA manages logistical support for clubs, national teams and its own officials.
