Harry Kane has officially extended his contract with Bayern Munich until June 2029, ending uncertainty about his future and strengthening the German club's plans for the coming seasons.
Bayern announced the agreement on Thursday, November 5, confirming that the England captain will remain at the Allianz Arena for another two years beyond his previous contract.
Since joining Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023, Kane has become one of the most productive forwards in European football. He has scored 156 goals in 161 competitive appearances for the German champions.
His impact has extended beyond goals. Kane has helped Bayern win two Bundesliga titles, the German Cup and two German Super Cups.
He has also finished as the Bundesliga's leading scorer in each of his first three seasons at the club.
The contract extension comes shortly after Kane received the 2026 Ballon d'Or, recognising his outstanding performances over the past year.
For Bayern, keeping their leading striker is an important decision. His goalscoring ability, experience and understanding of the team's attacking system make him a central figure in Vincent Kompany's plans.
The agreement also gives Bayern greater stability as they continue competing for domestic and European honours.
Kane has previously spoken positively about life in Munich, explaining that he and his family are happy at the club.
Although Bayern have not disclosed the financial details of the new agreement, the main message is clear: Kane wants to continue building his career in Germany.
The Champions League remains one of the biggest ambitions for both the striker and the club.
With his future settled until 2029, Bayern supporters will be hoping Kane can help deliver another memorable period of success.
