Rangers booked their place in December’s Scottish League Cup final with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Aberdeen at Hampden Park on Saturday (31 October), but a behind-the-scenes exchange between two players after the final whistle has caught the attention of supporters.
Ryan Naderi’s late 83rd-minute strike sealed the win for Derek McInnes’ side, sparking jubilation among the squad and fans alike as the players applauded the travelling support and made their way down the tunnel.
In an official video published on Rangers’ Instagram account showcasing the post-match atmosphere, high energy was on full display. Striker Kevin Kelsy and defender Olwethu Makhanya were seen gesturing cheerfully towards the camera, while youngster Findlay Curtis, who entered the fray as an 89th-minute substitute, could be seen screaming and jumping in sheer excitement.
However, it was Croatian goalkeeper Ivor Pandur who provided a moment of calm perspective amidst the exuberance.

Taken slightly aback by Curtis’ sudden burst of joy, Pandur turned to his young teammate with a relaxed face, clearly offering a relaxed five-word reminder: “Easy bro, job not done.”
The exchange, while warm and relaxed in tone rather than tense, perfectly encapsulated the standard expected inside the Rangers dressing room. Navigating a tough semi-final is a hurdle, but the ultimate prize remains the silverware itself.
It did not take long for supporters watching the social clip to pick up on the interaction. Fans immediately flooded the comments, hailing Pandur’s professional focus and leadership qualities. One supporter wrote “What a man”, referencing the Croatia international’s mentality.
On X, one Rangers fan explained that Pandur “got it spot on”, insisting that the players must only celebrate excessively once they have the trophy in the bag. Another supporter echoed the sentiment, writing that the goalkeeper is “one of the level-headed players in the dressing room.’
Can tell Pandur is one of the level headed players in the dressing room even when he is still quite young himself (for his position).

Telling Curtis to calm it down a bit because “Jobs not done” is the type of player you’re wanting in the dressing room imo. https://t.co/OwlC0pAOp8
