Andoni Iraola provides Liverpool injury updates on Bradley Barcola, Victor Munoz and Dominik Szoboszlai

Andoni Iraola will have Bradley Barcola available for Liverpool’s clash with Brighton this weekend despite the £120m winger missing training.

Barcola and Victor Munoz missed training for the Reds on Thursday, but the France international has been cleared to feature against the Seagulls.

Munoz is a major doubt though and could be missing alongside Dominik Szoboszlai, who is yet to join the group.

“He [Barcola] is fine, no problem, a matter of dealing with the load, stay inside, but he's fine,” Iraola noted. “Victor, he has a knock, he could finish the game against Brentford, but he's dealing with some pain, since then, it's too early against Villarreal, I think it'll be difficult, but I don't know.

“Dom is going to be out this weekend, I don’t think he’s far, but he hasn’t trained with the group, the way we start the team, he had to go out.

“It’ll probably take one or two more days than we would. It’s a good place, he plays outside alone, but not with the group.”

The Reds pulled off a come-from-behind victory against Villarreal in the Champions League with Rio Ngumoha shining and producing two assists, with Iraola noting a lack of intensity in his side during spells at Anfield.

“It's about feeling how they are,” Iraola said when asked about Ngumoha’s usage. “We're changing a lot the team, we're playing every three or four days, sometimes the players are tired, more risk involved, we're deciding to have more rest or fresher legs, we'll decide, it'll be the same against Brighton, we have to continue, change a little bit the team.

“No [he is not tired], he finished tired [against Villarreal], but it's normal, I want them to finish the games, it means everything, the forward positions, normally I sub all the wingers and strikers, most of the time they won't finish the games, give all you have, do your best, most of the time we'll change the forward positions.

“Every player has to focus on performances, do well, improve what you can improve, the outside noise, when it's good or bad, but we have to not be affected by those things. Try to improve what you can improve but don't be too affected by hose things you hear. Critics, but don't let it affect the performance, the most important thing.
