Everton will be without Jack Grealish once again when it faces off against Coventry City on Friday, Nov. 6.
The saga between the English star and the Toffees continues without much clarity as to when he may return.
Everton coach David Moyes left no doubt about Grealish’s availability for the upcoming Premier League fixture, confirming the midfielder wouldn’t be playing but leaving the door open for him in the near future.
"No, Jack is not available,” Moyes said on Thursday, Nov. 5. “I wouldn't give you the plan but we will be working with Jack again soon."
Grealish was first sidelined with what was described as an illness for the team's 2-0 loss to Arsenal on Oct. 24.
Four days later, Grealish was left out of a Carabao Cup match against Newcastle due to a "breach of club discipline."
Grealish also didn't play in a rematch against Newcastle on Monday, Nov. 2 with the club saying he was "not match fit."
Everton hasn’t let the saga become a distraction on the field as it defeated Newcastle in both matches that Grealish missed.
A win over Coventry City on Friday would move the Toffees into the top five heading into the weekend.
