Arsenal's objective is very clear. They want to beat Bayern Munich and makes it three Champions League wins from three but victory is not going to prove straightforward for the Gunners at the Allianz Arena.
Last time Arsenal won on this ground, in fact, Arteta was on the scoresheet, netting in a 2-0 victory back in March 2013.
Now the Spaniard is being tasked with selecting a team to stifle the Germans, who are without the suspended Michael Olise and potentially, boss Vincent Kompany.
In goal David Raya will obviously start between the sticks. Kepa Arrizabalaga is back with the group and will provide support for Yashin Award nominee Raya from the bench alongside Illan Meslier.

At right-back, Jurrien Timber is ready to start his second successive Champions League match. The Dutchman was on target last Tuesday in the 3-0 win over Lille while Ben White returned to the starting XI at Nottingham Forest.
Now it's Timber time as the former Ajax man has slowly been rebuilding his fitness in consultation with Arsenal and Holland's medical staff over recent weeks.
At centre-back, there should be no surprises at Ezri Konsa and Gabriel Magalhaes look poised to go again following a blockbuster showing at the City Ground.
Left-back is an interesting one. Myles Lewis-Skelly looks likely to start in some capacity, it's just not clear whether that will be at left-back or in central midfield.

MLS could get the nod at left-back for this one, though, after dazzling against Lille. There's always been an element of risk with Riccardo Calafiori's fitness and he's not robust enough to grind out two starts per week.
He could start this one on the bench and Declan Rice and Bruno Guimaraes could well remain in midfield, particularly as Guimaraes was subbed around the 65th minute at Forest.
The forward line picks itself right now. On the left, Noni Madueke will return to the starting XI following his clutch goal at Forest. Eberechi Eze needs to step up from the bench following a tough few months.
Captain Martin Odegaard starts as the No.10 while on the right-hand side, Bukayo Saka should be ready to start, even though his performances have dipped.
Kai Havertz leads the line but it wouldn't be a surprise to see Viktor Gyokeres replace Havertz in the line-up as the German hasn't scored since the win over Chelsea in September.
Predicted Arsenal XI vs Bayern Munich: Raya; Timber, Konsa, Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly; Rice, Guimaraes; Saka, Odegaard, Madueke; Havertz.
