But Tom Anderson and Jack Ellis are both set to miss another game this weekend.
Midfielder Embleton is yet to feature this season because of a calf injury, but he took part in the pre-match warm-up ahead of Carlisle’s victory against Harrogate Town on Wednesday.
Head coach Rob Elliot has not ruled out the possibility of Embleton being in the squad at Altrincham on Saturday, even if he may be reluctant to use him at this stage.
The 27-year-old could be needed on a day the Blues may be without midfielders Miguel Azeez and Harvey Bunker to suspension.
“I was going to hold him back to [next weekend’s game against] Salford, but I think he’s going to be on the bench on Saturday whether we [use] him or not,” Elliot said of Embleton.
“We'll see if he's available.
“But I’ve said to Embo that he's such a talented lad, and he's had such a hard time, that we want to make sure it's right for him and we don't do what's selfish for us in the short term.
“At the very least I’m sure he’ll be back for Salford – and we’ll see what this Saturday looks like.”
As Embleton nears a return, defensive duo Anderson and Ellis are set to miss out on the Altrincham trip.

Anderson suffered a calf injury at Solihull Moors last weekend, while Ellis has missed the last two games with a calf problem.
On loan man Anderson, Elliot said: “He’s strained his calf.
“Hopefully it’ll be a couple to three or four weeks.
“It’s a tough one because they're a bit weird, calves. I would say two to four weeks but once he gets moving again then you find out quite quickly.”
Elliot said Ellis should be back for the Salford game “or just after”.
“It’s a similar thing with his calf,” he said of the Cumbrian. “Fingers crossed it isn’t too bad, it was just a niggle from the [Kidderminster] game.”
