Carlisle United fans have their say on Solihull Moors win

Very poor first half, great last 20 minutes, so ended up worthy winners. Subs made a difference, but the reason we won was because everybody suddenly started to put in the same effort that Duru puts in all game, every game. If they all follow his example, we can climb the table. (@MikeEwins)

First half diabolical - but thoroughly deserved it based on second half performance. Weather conditions made it almost impossible, so to play some of the football we did second half was really positive. Richardson/Obiero really good, Duru MOM again. (@mark_rothery)

A huge relief and certainly a better 2nd half, but we need to improve dramatically in the games ahead and still lots of questions about Rob Elliot in my mind, what on earth was the thinking for the first half line-up (@MarkWard18)

Not the best performance, but the win is what matters. When we played well against Southend but failed to win, we were quick to highlight that the result is what matters not the performance. So it works both ways. 3 successive away wins for first time since March 2022. (@cufcstuff)

Credit to the side for turning that around. But a hugely worrying 1st half that casts a long, deep shadow despite the result. I felt angry and shocked at just how desperate and unacceptable that was. The maths is the maths but the bleakness of the opening 1st 45 is concerning. (@BackoSkiddaw)

An away win in nail biting fashion.. Left it late to change gear for whatever reason in terrible conditions! But 5 unbeaten AND 3 points off the playoffs !! (@LindaNi121202)

Credit where credit's due, 2nd half was so much better, we actually played a bit of football, pass and move and looked like we had a plan. Unthinkable to get beat today, it would’ve been a new low but 3 points and onto Wednesday (@Wisey6575)

Atrocious in the first half. Far too many long balls from Desbois. If we’re going to have a deep-lying midfielder trying to play out from the back it has to be Azeez or Whelan and not Bunker. Nicholson and Jenks are two failed gambles. A win, but absolute torture to watch. (@ostrichtowers)

I don't care whether the football is pretty or the football is ugly. All I care about is the win. So I am a happy bunny tonight. (@RealMrGrumps)

3/10 performance absolutely shambolic. But 3 points is 3 points and our unbeaten run continues so got to give credit to the team for turning that performance into a win. Great attitude (@Tompear69331033)

Elliot's starting line up was woeful and the first half performance diabolical, there is no way of getting away with that. Elliot is tactically naive and IMO he is not the man for the job unless there is a very big improvement soon. (@peterjo91525330)

Shocking! Armstrong could potentially save the season if he comes back, but he won't be nothing like Kelly upfront holding play up. Need a forward still! (@Buddydingnmod)

It’s a poor league, play-offs should be an easy ask still but not sure about much after that (@keithelliott94)
