Seven teams contacted ex-Chiefs RB ahead of 2026 NFL trade deadline

According to insider Aaron Wilson, former Kansas City Chiefs running back Dameon Pierce is garnering significant interest ahead of the 2026 NFL trade deadline.

Per Wilson's reporting, Pierce — who was released by the Philadelphia on November 6 with an injury settlement — has already received calls from the Miami Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars, Carolina Panthers, Baltimore Ravens, Arizona Cardinals, Tennessee Titans, and San Francisco 49ers.

While Pierce is said to be dealing with a "relatively minor" hamstring issue, his injury status isn't keeping running-back-needy teams from pursuing the former Florida Gator.

Take a look at Wilson's full update on Pierce, which was posted to Twitter by the insider on his official account:

Originally a fourth-round pick of the Houston Texans in the 2022 NFL Draft, Pierce spent the better part of four seasons with the Texas-based franchise before finding his way to the Chiefs in 2025 and signing with Philadelphia in free agency earlier this year.
