Welcome to the 5,000 Yard Club, Alvin Kamara. The New Orleans Saints running back helped spark a second-half surge against the New York Giants with a 31-yard touchdown reception -- catching a pass in the flat and turning upfield, sliding between defenders to put his team ahead. It was a classic moment from one of the team's most decorated players.
Three of the other six players who have put up 5,000 yards as both a rusher and receiver are members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame: running backs Leroy Moore, Marcus Allen, and Marshall Faulk. Giants legend Tiki Barber is also in the club, as is Kamara's longtime rival and fellow 2017 draft pick Christian McCaffrey.
It was also the 90th touchdown Kamara has scored in his career, breaking his tie with Josh Allen to rank fifth among active players. Kamara is now tied with Pro Football Hall of Famers Leroy Kelly and Charley Taylor in the all-time touchdowns standings.
