Aston Villa made easy work of Fenerbahce in the Champions League on Wednesday night. Unai Emery's men secured a 6-0 home win thanks to a Johan Manzambi opener and a Nicolas Jackson brace before half-time.

Manzambi scored with the help of a deflection after the ball fell to his feet inside the box, and Jackson added a second with a superb low finish from the edge of the box after being played in by Ross Barkley. Boubacar Kamara then turned provider to find Jackson for his next goal, with the striker again striking low from the edge of the box to find the far bottom corner.

Ibrahim Mbaye came close with a breakaway chance in the 65th minute, but Villa would get their fourth in the 70th minute, when a clever dummy from Manzambi saw him brought down. Ross Barkley tucked away the spot-kick, and he produced an even better finish from the edge of the box to make it five just four minutes later, in the 72nd minute.

A sixth came right before full-time to make it a club-record win in the competition for Villa, with Alysson finding his way down the left before crossing for fellow substitute Tammy Abraham to tap home.

Here GIVEMESPORT rates the Villa players with school-style grades.

Zion Suzuki - A+

Pulled off a huge save to deny Miriqi, who was one-v-one in the 17th minute, and he had also pulled off a strong near post save to deny a header just before. The game could have gone differently had he not made those saves.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka - B

Did very well to constantly track the lively Mason Greenwood when he was on his side.

Pau Torres - B

Pau Torres

Composed and error-free. A very solid display.

Victor Lindelof - B

Made a big mistake in the 52nd minute but immediately made up for it with a diving block, putting his body on the line.

Matty Cash - C

Let his man slip at the back post at a corner in the 15th minute and was lucky to be let off. Came close with a long-range shot just before the hour-mark.

Johan Manzambi - A+

Scored the opener. A huge deflection, but did well to get the shot off quickly. Produced some excellent footwork to regularly force Villa in the final third, leading transitions from midfield. He produced a clever dummy to win the penalty.

Ross Barkley - A+

Provided the pass for the first goal after driving towards the Fenerbahce box. Sat in that deep role and underpinned everything Villa did. Scored a penalty with a confident finish, and he wasn't done there, producing an excellent finish from the edge of the box to score the fifth. Came off in the 82nd minute after overstretching and appearing to pick up a muscular issue.

All 10 found — excellent!

Boubacar Kamara - A

A similar assist from Kamara for the second, although Jackson did still have a lot to do. Just before the hour-mark, Kamara made a lung-busting run back to his own byline to block a cross after Villa were caught a little open.

John McGinn - C

Plenty lively but wasn't quite as impactful as others here.

Ibrahim Mbaye - C

A great run and strike in the 54th minute and was unlucky to be denied. He was also unlucky to be denied in the 65th minute when breaking through on goal. Mbaye came off with 12 minutes to go.

Nicolas Jackson - A+

Came close with a clever effort just before the half-hour mark. A couple of minutes later, he found the net with a superb strike from the edge of the box. He couldn't have placed it any better. In the 38th minute, Jackson did it again, striking low into the far corner and securing a brace. Jackson also played a nice through ball to Mbaye on a breakaway in the 65th minute. Jackson came off with 12 minutes to go.

Substitutes

Tammy Abraham (On at 78') - B

Tapped home a sixth for Villa late on, positioning himself nicely at the back post.

Alejandro Garnacho (On at 78') - C

Didn't really offer anything, but the game was done.

Alysson (On at 73') - B

Did brilliantly to burst down the right and then provide a tap-in for Abraham.

Joao Gomes (On at 73') - C

Didn't offer much, but he didn't have to.

Leon Goretzka (On at 83') - C

Same as the above.
