Newcastle United LIVE Q&A: Transfer miss, Jaissle tactics and goal concerns

Lee Ryder answers your Newcastle United questions with the Magpies needing a positive result at Crystal Palace

Matthias Jaissle

LR: I think anybody who knows something about football can factor in the injuries at Newcastle but for my money the three-week international break was a momentum sapper. Newcastle could have done with another game on the back of Hull but had to wait. Yes the injuries cleared it but Newcastle looked cold and out of practice for that clash against Coventry. Three weeks is almost a pre-season and it seemed to reset them in a negative way. Just my humble opinion.
