WATCH: Bears respond to Seahawks with second TD from D’Andre Swift

After giving up a touchdown to the Seattle Seahawks, the Chicago Bears responded with a touchdown drive on their own to make it a 10-point game once again.

The touchdown was set up aftr an unusual sequence on third down. On third and four for the Bears, Seattle’s defense completely stuffed running back D’Andre Swift in the backfield. However, the officials blew the play dead because of a delay of game penalty on Chicago.

The Seahawks defense thought they had the Bears right where they wanted them. However, on third and nine, Chicago quarterback Caleb Williams threw a backwards pass to wide receiver Kalif Raymond who ran it 39 yards to set up first and goal for the Bears. On the next play, Swift ran it in from five yards away for the touchdown, extending Chicago’s lead to 27-17.

Here is a look at Swift’s second touchdown of the game, courtesy of the NFL’s official social media:

Part of Chicago’s strategy throughout the season has been to control time of possession. After their touchdown drive, they have already won the time of possession battle with over half the fourth quarter left.
