The Arizona Cardinals had an off day on Tuesday, but they made some roster moves. They had a swap of players on the practice squad.
They announced the signing of linebacker Bradyn Swinson and the release of safety Mark Perry.
Perry was signed to the practice squad two weeks ago.
Swinson is an outside linebacker in the Cardinals' defensive scheme. He is 6-4 and 255 pounds. He was drafted in the fifth round in 2025 by the New England Patriots and played in three games for them last season. logging one tackle in 27 defensive snaps and 22 snaps on special teams.
He played collegiately at Oregon and LSU. He had 8.5 sacks and 13 tackles for loss in his final season at LSU.
The move perhaps foreshadows an injury to one of the five outside linebackers on the Cardinals' roster currently (Josh Sweat, Zaven Collins, Baron Browning, Jordan Burch and Eku Leota).
We will see with Wednesday's first injury report.
This is the 17-man practice squad following the moves.
