The biggest professional Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) event in the traditional gi is back, with the 2026 IBJJF Crown happening on Sunday (November 8, 2026) at the Pyramid in Long Beach, California.

Eight-person tournaments will be held across four divisions for men, and two divisions for women. The event will reportedly again award every tournament winner $20,000 each, plus smaller purses to the other medalists. Several BJJ world champions will be participating, including five of the six champions from last year in three-time Crown winners Erich Munis and Gabi Pessanha, along with Andy Murasaki, Sarah Galvao, and Nolan Stuart.

The event will also feature the return of pound-for-pound star Mica Galvao, who will be in his first big tournament since his father and coach was arrested for several sexual assault charges. He will compete in the middleweight division, where Murasaki has held the Crown in back-to-back years.

The gi jiu-jitsu event will stream LIVE on FloGrappling, starting at 1 p.m. ET.

A free live stream of the earlier matches from the 2025 IBJJF Crown will likely be on YouTube, and will be embedded below once available. Brackets and first round match ups can be viewed here, while the full results and highlights will be below.
