The Proteas have announced their group for the Test series against Bangladesh, which gets under way in Johannesburg later this month.
South Africa’s selection panel named a 15-player squad on Monday for the two-Test series against Bangladesh.
The first Test starts at the Bullring in Johannesburg on 15 November, and the second begins at SuperSport Park in Centurion on 23 November.
Tony de Zorzi returns after recovering from the hamstring injury that ruled him out of the series against Australia, and Zubayr Hamza has been included.
Anrich Nortje is back after being sidelined for two weeks with a groin injury, while Lungi Ngidi was not considered as he continues his rehabilitation.
David Bedingham, Gerald Coetzee, Senuran Muthusamy and Kyle Verreynne, who were in the squad for the third Test against Australia, are left out.
The Proteas arrive as the world’s top-ranked Test side after beating Australia by 176 runs at Newlands to win that series 2-1.
Simon Harmer took 10-120 in that Test, Ryan Rickelton and Wiaan Mulder both scored centuries, and Kagiso Rabada took his 350th Test wicket.
