Raiders release ex-Chiefs draft pick ahead of 2026 NFL trade deadline

According to veteran reporter Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston, former Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Darian Kinnard was released by the Las Vegas Raiders on November 3.

Kinnard started his career with the Chiefs as a fifth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft and was a member of Kansas City's Super Bowl LVII and LVIII rosters. The former Kentucky Wildcat also won Super Bowl LIX, in which the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Chiefs 40-22 in February 2025.

After a one-year stint in Philadelphia, Kinnard signed with the Green Bay Packers last season before joining the New York Giants in 2026. He was released on October 2 and signed with Las Vegas on October 19.

While his resume is undoubtedly impressive, Kinnard only ever took the field for a handful of snaps during his time in Kansas City, but he earned four starts in Green Bay's 9-7 2025 regular-season campaign.
