Maidenhead United come into tonight's game at York Road in desperate need of a victory to restore some belief and confidence to a squad that's struggled of late.

Three straight defeats in the league have seen the Magpies tumble down the table to 18th - only three points above the drop zone.

Two of those three have come away to the league's top two teams - Maidstone United and Ebbsfleet United - however, the manner of Saturday's 4-0 defeat at Ebbsfleet will have concerned manager Ryan Peters and Magpies' supporters.

Horsham come into tonight's game unbeaten in three matches.  They got the better of Slough Town 2-1 at Arbour Park a couple of weeks ago after Shay Spencer had been sent off for the hosts. Greg Luer scored a brilliant winner for the visitors in that game.

They then drew 2-2 with Ebbsfleet United - one of only four teams to have taken points off the Fleet this season. While on Saturday they edged out struggling Walton & Hersham 1-0 at home.
