Boston Celtics basketball is finally back.

It's been a long wait since the Celtics' Game 7 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round of the 2026 NBA playoffs.

But a new season begins Tuesday when the C's take on the Pistons in Detroit.

The Celtics underwent a ton of roster changes in the offseason, most notably trading Jaylen Brown to the Sixers in exchange for Paul George and two first-round draft picks. They also signed Mitchell Robinson and Mike Conley Jr. in free agency.

How will the new pieces fit together? Can the Celtics start the new campaign with a win against a legit East contender?
