New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye is climbing back into the NFL spotlight.
Fox Sports ranked Maye No. 10 overall in their latest QB Stock Market update following his strong performance in Week 6, which continued his string of quality play of late.
Maye delivered another quality outing in Week 6, completing 18-of-32 passes for 235 yards and three touchdowns without an interception in the Patriots’ 26-19 win over the New York Jets. His performance extended a three-game surge that has included victories over Buffalo and Las Vegas, and has seen him throw for a combined 878 yards and 10 touchdowns to only one interception.
Through six games, Maye has registered 1,463 passing yards, 11 touchdowns and seven interceptions. After throwing seven interceptions across his first four appearances, he has eliminated the costly mistakes over his last two games. The improved ball security has helped restore his standing among the most notable quarterbacks in the league.
Maye and the Patriots will face the Chicago Bears in their next matchup in Week 7. The matchup presents another opportunity for him to sustain his current level of play, with protecting the football and handling defensive pressure key to maintaining his upward trajectory in the rankings.
