Jonathan Taylor could command hefty asking price

Indianapolis Colts RB Jonathan Taylor could command a compensation package similar to the one that the Carolina Panthers received from the San Francisco 49ers after trading RB Christian McCaffrey in 2022, if Taylor is moved before the NFL trade deadline Tuesday, Nov. 10, according to multiple sources. In that deal, the 49ers gave up second-, third-, fourth- and fifth-round picks for McCaffrey. The Colts have already received at least one offer that includes a second-round pick and additional compensation, according to sources.
