Tottenham Hotspur are back in Premier League action on Saturday evening when they welcome London rivals Crystal Palace at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Spurs finally ended their long Stamford Bridge curse by beating Chelsea 2-0 last weekend thanks to an own goal from Mike Penders a fine solo Mathys Tel strike. Chelsea were reduced to 10 men after Cole Palmer was sent off, and Roberto De Zerbi’s side made the numerical advantage count.

Tottenham will look to make it three Premier League wins on the bounce by beating Crystal Palace, who overcame Fulham 1-0 in the EFL Cup fourth round in midweek.

Team News for Tottenham vs. Crystal Palace

Spurs suffered a setback when James Maddison was forced off in the second half against Chelsea with what looked like a groin injury. He is expected to miss a few weeks of action.

Destiny Udogie has missed the last two games with a knee issue and remains doubtful, but Tottenham could welcome back Tosin Adarabioyo and Lucas Bergvall against Crystal Palace. Meanwhile, Rodrigo Bentancur will serve the third and final game of his suspension on Saturday.

As for Palace, Ismaila Sarr remains a doubt due to the continuation of a groin injury, and there are also question marks over Jorgen Strand Larsen’s availability after the striker missed out entirely against Newcastle United and Fulham.

The Eagles received a big boost in midweek when No.1 goalkeeper Dean Henderson returned to action against Fulham after more than a month on the sidelines.

TTLB prediction for Tottenham vs. Crystal Palace

Spurs are riding high on confidence after beating Coventry and Chelsea. The atmosphere around the club has suddenly changed after months of toxicity, with belief back in De Zerbi’s squad.

The manner in which Tottenham dominated possession and territory against Chelsea should have finally given our fans a glimpse of what De Zerbi is trying to do with this bunch of players. It was fascinating to watch, especially at a stadium which has never been kind to our fans.

Palace, on the other hand, are in terrible form with two defeats and no goals scored in their last two league matches. They did advance to the EFL Cup quarter-finals by beating Fulham 1-0 away in midweek, but Pierre Sage has big problems in his side that require addressing.

The Eagles will be a threat on the counter, so our defenders should have their task cut out at the weekend. All in all, we feel Tottenham are favourites and will get the job done.

Score prediction: Tottenham 3-1 Crystal Palace
