Scotland lock Craig extends Glasgow stay

Scotland international Alex Craig has extended his contract with Glasgow Warriors until the summer of 2029.

The 29-year-old became a key member of the Scotstoun forward pack in making 16 appearances last season in his first campaign with the club.

Craig marked his first outing of this term by scoring his first Glasgow try in the 47-27 away victory over Sale Sharks last weekend.

Craig's contract extension comes 24 hours after fellow lock Alex Samuel signed a new deal.

"I'm absolutely delighted," Craig said.

"It was a really easy decision to be honest - I loved my first season with the club, and I'm really excited to see what we can achieve as a group."
