The tie is scheduled to take place over the weekend of Friday, November 6, with the confirmed date and kick-off time to be announced in due course.

The tie is a tough one for Rovers who lost 2-1 to the unbeaten Bees at Prenton Park on Saturday.

Tranmere have not got past the first round stage for the past four years with their last victory in the FA Cup a 1-0 win over Crawley Town in 2021.

Following the weekend's fourth round qualifying ties, those teams who progressed into the competition proper have now been joined by clubs from both League One and Two.

A total of 40 ties were drawn out for the first round, which will be staged across the weekend of Saturday, November 7 2026 with winning clubs at this stage of the competition receiving £47,750 from the prize fund while losing teams will collect £15,800.

There are still a number of fourth round qualifying ties to be decided, with eleven replays taking place on Tuesday, October 20.

Ticket information, including pricing and sale dates, will be communicated once confirmed.
