Dolphins elevate Zane Gonzalez, Max Llewellyn

The Dolphins elevated kicker Zane Gonzalez and edge rusher Max Llewellyn to the active roster for Sunday’s game, the team announced.

Gonzalez, 31, signed with the Dolphins’ practice squad on Oct. 20 and kicked in last week’s win over the Jets. He made all four extra points.

He replaced Riley Patterson, whom the team released.

Gonzalez was previously with the Dolphins during the offseason program and training camp. He was placed on injured reserve in August and released with an injury settlement on Aug. 19.

In nine games for Atlanta last season, Gonzalez hit 19-of-22 field goals and 17-of-18 extra points.

Llewellyn has appeared in two games for the Dolphins this season, making his NFL debut in Week 2 against the 49ers and appearing in Sunday’s victory over the Jets.

He was selected by the Dolphins in the seventh round after a five-year career at Iowa.
