NBC Coast 2 Coast Tuesday: Everything you need to know
Coast 2 Coast Tuesdays offer a distinctive broadcast schedule — putting NBA hoops in primetime based on time zones across the United States.
One week after delivering the most-watched opening night ever, NBC and Peacock are back with another star-studded doubleheader with tonight’s season debut of Coast 2 Coast Tuesdays.
The action tips off at 8 ET from Madison Square Garden with the defending champion New York Knicks (0-3) welcoming the Detroit Pistons (3-0). All-Star guards Jalen Brunson and Cade Cunningham headline the matchup with the Knicks searching for their first win of the season and the Pistons seeking their first 4-0 start since 2018.
NBC Sports’ Mike Tirico (play-by-play), three-time NBA Sixth Man of the Year Jamal Crawford, who played for New York from 2004-2008 (analyst), and Jordan Cornette (courtside reporter) will call the East matchup.
In the nightcap at 8 PT (11 ET) from Crypto.com Arena, more star guards take center stage in Los Angeles as Luka Dončić and the Lakers (3-0) host Damian Lillard, Ja Morant and the Portland Trail Blazers (2-0). Both teams will look to remain undefeated, with Dončić coming off the first 50-point game of the 2026-27 season when he erupted for 52 points Sunday in Utah.
