ESPN predicts Falcons WR will score first TD of season vs. Bears

ESPN predicts breakthrough for Falcons WR Drake London vs. Bears

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London has been on a heater since Michael Penix Jr. returned to the lineup in Week 3. Over the last three games, London has posted 194, 96 and 118 receiving yards, respectively after managing just 29 and 51 receiving yards the first two weeks of the season.

One thing London hasn't done yet this year is find the end zone. That's something that ESPN expects will change this afternoon when London and the Falcons host the Chicago Bears.

According to Matt Bowen, London will post his first touchdown of the season today.

"London has yet to find the end zone this season, but he's averaging seven catches and 136 receiving yards over the past three games. He will see plenty of man coverage from the Bears secondary Sunday (55.3% of coverage snaps), and he will have clear advantages on the perimeter."

The Bears have been pretty generous to opposing wide receivers this year. Through five games they have allowed 50 catches, 801 receiving yards and five touchdowns.

If we had to call the game against the Falcons, we'd be bracketing London in coverage and forcing somebody else to beat us. So far London has 488 receiving yards on the year, while no other Atlanta player has more than 152.
