Jalen Brunson emotionally addressed New York Knicks fans during the team’s ring ceremony.
New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson has fortified his status as a franchise legend for spearheading the team’s 2026 NBA Championship run.
Evidently, all Knicks fans had their eyes on what Brunson would have to say during the team’s ring ceremony on the season opener against the Philadelphia 76ers.
As expected, Brunson looked overwhelmed with emotion during the much-awaited ring ceremony and he delivered a solid speech.
“What’s up, Knicks fans? Most importantly, I want to say thank you to you guys for not leaving Game 4. We really appreciate it, as much as we won this we wouldn’t have done it without you guys,” he said.
Brunson added, “This is unbelievable. This really is a dream come true. I know we’re all excited to get the season going, we’re all ready to turn the page as a team, but one thing I’d like to say: the joy that this city has had this summer, we’d love to replicate that again. Thank you guys, let’s raise this banner.”
LOUD cheers for the Captain!

The Knicks may be the reigning champions of the NBA, but Brunson is already looking forward to repeating the same level of success in the 2026-27 season.
It’s easier said than done, as the Eastern Conference has only gotten stronger during the offseason and the Knicks face many threats to their throne.
