Steelers vs Bengals in Week 10 just got much more important

The Pittsburgh Steelers went into Week 9 of the NFL regular season on the bye and in the lead in the AFC North. But just a few hours into the Sunday games, the Cincinnati Bengals beat the Atlanta Falcons in Madrid, Spain and at 6-2 are not tied for the top of the division. This makes next Sunday's prime-time showdown between the Steelers and Bengals a matchup to see who takes control of the AFC North.

Pittsburgh and Cincinnati squared off in Week 3 with the Steelers in a thriller in Pittsburgh. The Steelers offense came to life with quarterback Aaron Rodgers throwing for 292 yards and three touchdowns, and running back Jaylen Warren racking up 176 yards of offense. The play of the game, however, came on defense when defensive tackle Derrick Harmon got a strip-sack of Bengals quarterback Joey Burrow that set up the game-winning field goal by Chris Boswell.

Here are the current AFC North standings with the Cleveland Browns still to play in Week 9.

Pittsburgh Steelers 6-2

Cincinnati Bengals 6-2

Cleveland Browns 5-3
