Crystal Palace host Liverpool on Sunday with both teams desperate for a victory.

The Eagles are really struggling in the Premier League under new manager Pierre Sage, as they’ve lost three games in a row and sit in the relegation zone with pressure building on the Frenchman.

Liverpool have been on the up generally but despite playing well at home against Arsenal last weekend they lost, then Andoni Iraola’s side were 2-1 up late on at Fenerbahce in the Champions League in midweek but lost.

Crystal Palace team news

Chadi Riad, Ismaila Sarr and Takehiro Tomiyasu remain out injured, while Jean-Philippe Mateta is suspended after his red card last weekend at Spurs. Defensive struggles have plagued Sage’s early-season struggles, with Palace giving up too many chances and huge gaps open up on the counter.

Liverpool team news

Giovanni Leoni, Conor Bradley, Hugo Ekitike and Jeremie Frimpong remain out, while Ryan Gravenberch is a doubt. Iraola will no doubt make changes after the tiring trip to Istanbul in midweek and regular starters Isak, Wirtz, Kerkez, Araujo and Gakpo will all come back in to start.

Crystal Palace vs Liverpool prediction

This feels like Liverpool will come flying out of the traps and hit Palace on the break early, with Isak and Co. hungry for goals before the international break. Crystal Palace 1-3 Liverpool.
