Internet sensation and amateur boxer Mbavu Destroyer has revealed that TikTok described him as “not a normal human being” in an email explaining the ban of his account.
Speaking on the Mic Cheque podcast, Mbavu said he believed people reporting his account contributed to the ban.
“Watu wana roho mbaya, sasa mtu akinireport alafu account inabanniwa. TikTok walisema ati ‘you’re not a normal human being.’ Walituma email,” he said.
Mbavu did not disclose further details of the email or identify the specific TikTok rules he was accused of violating.
Mbavu gained popularity through videos featuring unusual physical stunts, boxing training and challenges. His training videos included lifting and carrying heavy building blocks, which became associated with his “Weka mawe” catchphrase.
He later became widely known through his rivalry with fellow amateur boxer Portifas Odipo, popularly known as Majembe.
The two exchanged challenges on social media ahead of their boxing match on April 4, 2026, at Kasarani Indoor Arena in Nairobi.
Their rivalry attracted attention online before they faced each other in the ring, where Majembe defeated Mbavu.
