Wolves came from behind to beat Burnley 2-1, extending the Clarets’ wait for a home league victory to 21 matches and increasing the pressure on manager Nicky Hayen.
Burnley made a promising start and took the lead through Jamie Vardy, who scored his first goal for the club with an excellent finish.
However, defensive mistakes proved costly as Wolves recovered to claim all three points despite entering the match after a difficult week.
Vardy had an early opportunity inside the penalty area, but Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa produced an impressive save to deny him.
The striker eventually found the net after receiving a pass from Jacob Bruun Larsen near the edge of the box, firing a low effort into the bottom corner.
Wolves gradually settled into the contest and capitalised on a costly mistake from Burnley defender Kyle Walker shortly before half-time.
Walker lost possession under pressure, allowing on-loan teenager Sean Neave to release Fer Lopez.
The forward made no mistake, guiding a low shot past Burnley goalkeeper Gregoire Coudert and into the net via the post to restore parity.
The visitors carried their momentum into the second half and nearly took the lead when Rafiki Said forced Coudert into another important save.
Wolves eventually completed the comeback through substitute Tawanda Chirewa, who scored moments after entering the pitch.
His opportunity came after Igor Julio surrendered possession in midfield, allowing the Zimbabwean international to collect the ball and calmly finish.
Burnley struggled to produce a response as Wolves protected their advantage to secure a valuable victory.
The result provided relief for Wolves after a difficult week in which they suffered defeats against Middlesbrough and Bolton and lost strikers Raul Jimenez and Adam Armstrong to injuries.
For Burnley, however, the defeat extended their home league winless streak to 21 matches, leaving Hayen under increasing pressure to turn around the team's fortunes.
