The Premier League returns with five matches on Saturday, October 17, 2026, as clubs look to strengthen their positions in the table, with Manchester City leading the standings after winning all six of their opening matches.
Everton host Chelsea in the day's early kick-off at 12:30pm, with both sides targeting valuable points as they look to keep pace with the teams above them.
The two clubs are level on 10 points, although Chelsea occupy sixth place while Everton sit fifth because of their goal difference.
Brentford welcome Liverpool at 3pm in another important contest. Brentford have collected 10 points from six matches and remain unbeaten, having recorded two wins and four draws.
They will be hoping to maintain that record against a Liverpool side sitting ninth with nine points.
Liverpool have won two, drawn three and lost one of their opening six league games. Another setback could make their attempt to close the gap on the leading teams more difficult.
At the same time, Fulham face Hull City, while Manchester City welcome Ipswich Town. Fulham are bottom of the table with two points and are yet to win a league match this season.
Hull, meanwhile, have nine points and occupy eighth place, giving them an opportunity to move higher with a positive result.
City will be aiming to extend their perfect start when they face Ipswich. Maresca's side have 18 points, five more than second-placed Arsenal, and have scored 16 goals while conceding only five.
Saturday's programme concludes with Newcastle United hosting Aston Villa at 5:30pm. Newcastle have eight points, while Villa have five after six matches.
With several teams separated by only a few points, the results could significantly alter the standings as the Premier League campaign continues.
