Premier League Matchweek 8: Chelsea Face Tottenham as Manchester City Visit Aston Villa

The 2026/27 Premier League Matchweek 8 begins on Friday, October 23, with Ipswich Town hosting Nottingham Forest, as football fans in Singapore prepare for another round of fixtures available live on StarHub and Premier League+.

According to the Premier League’s official fixture announcements, the eighth round features 10 matches scheduled across three days, with several high-profile encounters involving clubs competing near the top of English football. The fixtures are also listed on StarHub’s official Premier League schedule.

Saturday, October 24, features four matches, including Aston Villa against Manchester City, Arsenal versus Everton and Coventry City against Fulham. Chelsea will then host Tottenham Hotspur in a London derby scheduled for the evening.

Sunday, October 25, brings five more fixtures. Crystal Palace will face Newcastle United, while Hull City meet Brentford. Liverpool are scheduled to host Brighton & Hove Albion, and Manchester United will take on Bournemouth. Sunderland will conclude the round against Leeds United.

The official fixture list confirms the following schedule in Singapore time:

Friday, October 23: Ipswich Town vs Nottingham Forest.

Saturday, October 24: Aston Villa vs Manchester City; Arsenal vs Everton; Coventry City vs Fulham; Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur.

Sunday, October 25: Crystal Palace vs Newcastle United; Hull City vs Brentford; Liverpool vs Brighton & Hove Albion; Manchester United vs Bournemouth; Sunderland vs Leeds United.

The Premier League announced in August that Premier League+ had launched in Singapore in partnership with StarHub. According to the league’s official announcement, the streaming service offers all 380 Premier League matches live, alongside match replays, highlights and additional football programming.

The service complements StarHub’s existing sports coverage, providing viewers with another way to follow their preferred clubs throughout the season.

The upcoming fixtures offer supporters opportunities to watch local rivalries and matchups between established Premier League teams. However, match outcomes and their impact on the league standings will only become clear after the games are played.
