Liverpool are preparing to face high-flying Brighton in the Premier League at the weekend, and they could be without a number of senior players.
The Reds have a number of long-term injuries to contend with, but they've also had a host of different players suffering injuries over the last few weeks.
Andoni Iraola will be desperate for a fully fit squad to face Brighton, who have been one of the best sides in the Premier League so far this season.
The Seagulls sit in third place in the table and have also beaten the champions, Arsenal, already.
Here, GIVEMESPORT have taken a look at the players who could be missing against Brighton this weekend, with Iraola providing an update in his press conference.
Hugo Ekitike ruptured his Achilles tendon back in April and hasn't featured for Liverpool since then.
The French forward was included in Liverpool's Champions League league phase squad, hinting that he might be available before the turn of the year.
Ekitike is yet to return to first-team training with the Reds, so we're still unlikely to see him anytime in the near future.
Speaking on Ekitike back in September, Iraola confirmed that he still thinks he's far away.
"I think it's difficult with these long-term injuries, I think he's still far [away]. But we had a meeting with the medical department to analyse when we completed the [squad] list for the European games. There is a reasonable chance that he could help us in the last two games of the group stages."
Connor Bradley is another long-term absentee after suffering a knee injury back in January.
He is another who is yet to return to first-team training, with Iraola also providing an update on him back in September.
"I think he is not close to training with the team. He's training alone but he has started touching the ball. Definitely I want him as quick as possible ready but it's a long-term injury."
Jeremie Frimpong suffered a muscle injury against Brentford, which was Liverpool's last Premier League clash.
The Dutch international missed the Champions League game against Villarreal this week, and it's unlikely he returns to action before the end of this month.
Giovanni Leoni hasn't played in over a year after suffering an ACL injury. Speaking just over a week ago, Iraola did confirm that it's taking more time than Liverpool had hoped.
"Giovanni's injury, I wasn't here but talking to the medical department, it was not just an ACL – it was a bad injury, a lot of things around the knee were involved apart from the ACL.
"He has to be very confident, the rehab process has to be very careful with him and we want to make sure once he comes to the team, he stays there in a good place.
"It's true that we've had, not a setback, but a little bit of a delay, if you want. The plan now is he starts in the next break. It's not that far but it's a little bit later than we expected, yes."
Bradley Barcola wasn't spotted in training earlier this week, despite being involved against Villarreal in the Champions League.
Providing an update on his fitness, Iraola has confirmed that he's fine after training on Friday.
“Bradley has trained today as normal. No problem, sometimes we just have to you know, with the workloads but he is fine"
Dominik Szoboszlai also got injured against Brentford, just like Frimpong, with Iraola then confirming he'd suffered a recurrence of his previous injury.
Victor Munoz missed Liverpool's game against Villarreal in the Champions League during the week. Providing an update on his fitness ahead of Brighton, Iraola said:
"Victor has a knock, he could finish the Brentford game but he is dealing with some pain. Too early v Villarreal, difficult for tomorrow but I really don't know."
