Arsenal Closely Monitoring "Outstanding" Brighton Player After His Brilliant Start

Arsenal are apparently keeping a close eye on Brighton striker Charalampos Kostoulas, who is establishing himself as one of the Premier League’s most promising young forwards.

Kostoulas has had a strong start to the 2026/27 season, scoring five goals and providing three assists in ten games across all competitions.

His mix of physical power, intelligent mobility, and technical talent has undoubtedly sparked interest from clubs capable of launching another massive raid on Brighton.

Arsenal is already observing Kostoulas

Former Premier League scout Bryan King told Football Insider that Arsenal is one of the teams actively watching Kostoulas.

King stated, “It could be another big money move, and more pound notes in the pot for Brighton.” I am sure Arsenal has previously looked at him.

“I’ve been told that they’re looking at him in the games he’s now playing. It will be quite intriguing to see how his future unfolds.”

Brighton has been impressed of Kostoulas’ abilities after signing him from Olympiacos in 2025.

Head coach Fabian Hürzeler lauded him shortly after his arrival, saying Brighton’s official.

“Charalampos is an outstanding young player and we’re delighted he is coming to Brighton.”

That assessment is starting to look more accurate. Kostoulas has emerged as a regular starter this season, and his efforts have earned him praise from former Manchester United striker Teddy Sheringham, who recently referred to him as “the complete package.”

Kostoulas could be the best long-term striker project.

When looking beyond the current transfer window, Arsenal’s interest makes a lot of sense.

Viktor Gyökeres remains a crucial aspect of Mikel Arteta’s attack, and Kai Havertz can also play a central role, but neither is a long-term solution. Kostoulas has the capacity to.

At 19, Arsenal would be investing in development and upside rather than just short-term productivity. His ability to lead the line, link assaults, and add goals already makes him very intriguing.

The obvious barrier is Brighton. They have consistently demonstrated that they would not trade their top young players cheaply, and Kostoulas’

This means Arsenal may have to relocate earlier than usual.

Waiting another two seasons could result in a more experienced player, but it could also turn Kostoulas from a viable possibility into another £100 million Brighton asset.
