TERRY McLaurin needed to be carted off the field in what was a scary moment on Monday Night Football in Week 6.
The Washington Commanders star wide receiver suffered a knee injury during the first quarter of his team’s road game against the San Francisco 49ers.
McLaurin was running a route on a third down when his left leg appeared to buckle near Washington’s sideline.
The Pro Bowl receiver grabbed for his left knee and lay on the ground, which is noteworthy for a player who entered the game with a hamstring injury.
Medical staff would place an air cast on McLaurin’s left leg.
McLaurin then hobbled to the cart and was greeted by embracing teammates and 49ers players.
The 31-year-old was then carted off the field.
