The 2026 World Series resumes tonight in St. Petersburg, Florida, with the Tampa Bay Rays looking to get a home-field boost to counter their 0-2 deficit against the Milwaukee Brewers (8 p.m. ET, Fox).
As part of the pregame festivities at Tropicana Field, former Rays manager Joe Maddon, who led the team to its first World Series in 2008, will throw out the first pitch.
In addition, Grammy Award-winning country music star Carly Pearce will perform the national anthem.
Pearce recently released her fifth studio album, "Honest Woman," on Aug. 28, and just wrapped up her latest tour on Oct. 22.
A native of Taylor Mill, Kentucky, Carly Pearce is a Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter who broke onto the national music scene in 2017 with her song "Every Little Thing." With a major push from its popularity on satellite radio, the song reached No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart and helped gain Pearce a national recording contract.
She won a Grammy Award in 2023 for Best Country Duo/Group performance, teaming up with Ashley McBryde on "Never Wanted to Be That Girl."
She has also won three Country Music Association awards, four Academy of Country Music awards and one CMT Music award.
Pearce became a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 2021, receiving an invitation from the late Dolly Parton.
