Hansi Flick has hailed Lamine Yamal as the world's best player after another star turn from Barcelona's teenage sensation.
Yamal scored twice and provided an assist as Barca made it six wins in LaLiga this season by beating Real Betis 5-2.
The winger has been directly involved in a goal in nine consecutive games in all competitions (nine goals, ten assists), which is his best run at club level in his career (162 games).
Yamal is the first player from Europe's five major leagues to reach 10 assists this season across all competitions, and Flick feels he is the best player on the planet as it stands.
"When you see the first goal he scored, it's incredible; right now he is the best player in the world," Flick said of Yamal.
"I am very happy with his performance and that is what I want to say.
"Of course, he is under pressure; he is 19 years old and has played every game, but he is 100% focused and committed, and he is very good. His performances have been incredible and his attitude, and that is how great players are.
"I told him that I was very proud because he had played a fantastic game."

Barca have become the second LaLiga team to win their first nine matches of a season in all competitions, after Real Madrid in 1968-69.
But Flick's focus was on swiftly turning attention to Tuesday's Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain.
He added: "For the moment the most important thing is to recover. Recovery is very important and seeing how we manage the minutes on Tuesday.
"We'll see, we'll look for 11 players. We don't know what will happen with Eric [Garcia], and [Jules] Kounde has small problems. We'll have to see."
