Nigeria’s Seun Ogunsakin has reached the semifinals of the J200 Cairo World Tennis Tour Juniors in Egypt after defeating home favourite Omar Kandil in three sets.

The top-seeded player recovered from losing the opening set to win 6-7(11), 6-4, 6-1 and secure his place in the last four.

The Aurum Tennis Academy player is part of the GSPDP/WT/CAT team touring Egypt and will now continue his pursuit of the singles title.

Ogunsakin is also competing in the doubles event alongside compatriot Ikenna Okonkwo.
