Bears TE Cole Kmet carted off with a knee injury

Bears tight end Cole Kmet injured his right knee on fourth quarter reception.

Kmet caught an 8-yard pass from Caleb Williams before linebacker Robert Spillane and cornerback Christian Gonzalez both tackled Kmet low. Kmet immediately grabbed his right knee.

Kmet couldn’t put weight on his right leg and required a cart to leave the field with 5:34 remaining in the fourth quarter.

He gave a thumb’s up to the Soldier Field crowd as he departed for the training room.

The Bears have ruled him out.

Kmet caught three passes for 28 yards.
