Reports: Charles Cross likely to miss time with a high-ankle sprain

The Seahawks finished Sunday night’s win over the Chiefs without left tackle Charles Cross on the field and it looks like they will continue to play without him for the near future.

Cross injured his ankle against Kansas City and multiple reports on Monday say that he is dealing with a high-ankle sprain. The injury is expected to keep him out of the lineup in the short term, although head coach Mike Macdonald said on Seattle Sports Monday that the team has not made any determinations about his outlook at this point.

Josh Jones replaced Cross on Sunday night and will likely continue to play in his place until he’s cleared to return.

Cross has started every game so far this season and he’s started all 69 games he’s played since joining the team as a 2022 first-round pick.
