Barcelona have opened discussions with Manchester City about a potential deal for two of the Premier League club’s leading forwards, according to indykaila News.
The Spanish champions have told Manchester City they are prepared to consider moves for Norway striker Erling Haaland and Belgium winger Jeremy Doku. Barcelona are planning a major transfer operation for next summer and have identified both players as possible targets.
Haaland, 26, is valued at €220m by Transfermarkt. The Norway international is under contract with Manchester City until the end of June 2034.
Doku’s current agreement with Manchester City runs until the middle of 2031. Transfermarkt puts the Belgium international’s market value at €75m.
Barcelona’s interest would therefore involve two players with lengthy contracts remaining at Manchester City and a combined market valuation of €295m.
