Week 6 got off to a rather uninspired start in the world of fantasy. While Jaxon Smith-Njigba had a typical high-volume outing, the Denver Broncos won a 17-14 game against the Seattle Seahawks that was anything but a cascade of fantasy scoring.
Unfortunately, any managers looking to play catch-up over the rest of the weekend will have to deal with a flood of key injuries, along with another set of byes. The Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions, Miami Dolphins, and Minnesota Vikings are all off this week.
The good news is that a few viable fill-ins should still be available on the late-week waiver wire.
Here, we'll dive into the Week 6 injury report, provide rankings for the top remaining point-per-reception (PPR) options, and highlight some sleepers who may still be available on the waiver wire.

Injury Report and Waiver-Wire Targets
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is set to miss another game with his ankle injury, meaning Tyler Huntley will start for the second straight week. He's a viable sleeper, rostered in only two percent of leagues, against the Cleveland Browns this week.
While Jackson will be out, Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams (hamstring) may make his return. Officially, he's questionable, but Williams was a full participant in practice on both Thursday and Friday. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, meanwhile, are not ready to insert Baker Mayfield (thumb) back into the lineup.
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts will miss Week 6 with a superficial blood clot.
Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Kirk Cousins is probably the top target for Week 6, as he'll face a suspect Buffalo Bills defense at home. However, he's already rostered in 69 percent of fantasy leagues.
Jameis Winston is a solid Plan B at QB and is only rostered in 20 percent of leagues. He has delivered 20-plus fantasy points in back-to-back weeks and will face a middling New Orleans Saints defense on Sunday.
The Saints have surrendered an average of 17.1 fantasy points to opposing QBs in 2026.
Aaron Rodgers and Michael Penix Jr. are also reasonable sleepers to consider in Week 6.

Injury Report and Waiver-Wire Targets
Along with Hurts, the Eagles have ruled out running back Saquon Barkley. The list of RBs ruled out this week also includes Will Shipley, Kyle Monangai, Dylan Sampson, and AJ Dillon.
TreVeyon Henderson, Quinshon Judkins, Alvin Kamara, Tyjae Spears, Rico Dowdle, and Sean Tucker are listed as questionable.
New York Jets running back Breece Hall isn't quite ready to return from his quad injury, meaning Braelon Allen should start for the third straight week. Arizona Cardinals rookie running back Jeremiyah Love, meanwhile, will miss a game for the first time after playing through ankle injuries in the early season.
Because of Love's ankle injury, Tyler Allgeier is a strong add for Week 6. He has only reached double-digit fantasy points once this season but should see a higher volume against the Los Angeles Rams.
The Rams, meanwhile, have been relatively average against opposing RBs in fantasy, surrendering an average of 17.4 points to opposing backfields in 2026. Allgeier is still only rostered in 44 percent of fantasy leagues.
Woody Marks figures to be another backup-turned-starter with David Montgomery set to miss time with a groin injury. While the Houston Texans will face a Jacksonville Jaguars team that has surrendered the third-fewest fantasy points to opposing RBs, he should have a serviceable PPR floor. The bigger issue is that Marks was a popular waiver claim and is now rostered in 79 percent of leagues.
It's worth checking to see if Marks is still available. Kendre Miller, Mike Washington Jr., Kaelon Black, and far more realistic targets late in the week, albeit with lower floors as well.

Injury Report and Waiver-Wire Targets
While Hurts and Barkley have been ruled out, DeVonta Smith is set to make his return for Philadelphia. A.J. Brown is questionable but could also return for the New England Patriots. However, wide receiver Adonai Mitchell, Tre' Harris, Rashee Rice, Skyy Moore, and Tank Dell are out.
D.J. Moore, Ja'Kobi Lane, Omar Cooper Jr., Chris Olave, DK Metcalf, and David Sills are listed as questionable.
Indianapolis Colts receiver Keenan Allen projects as a solid fill-in this week and a viable flex option for as long as he's healthy and Alec Pierce remains sidelined.
Allen delivered 15.3 fantasy points in Week 3, missed Week 4, and yielded a modest seven points in Week 5. However, he has a solid matchup against a Tennessee Titans defense that has surrendered the 11th-most fantasy points (tied) to opposing WRs this season.
Allen is rostered in only 40 percent of leagues.
With receivers Michael Pittman Jr. and Roman Wilson both sidelined by injuries, rookie Germie Bernard should be a reasonable play for the Pittsburgh Steelers this week. He logged 14.4 fantasy points last week and is rostered in only 34 percent of fantasy leagues.
Keon Coleman, Kendrick Bourne, Tre Tucker, and Makai Lemon are other strong waiver options to consider this week.

Injury Report and Waiver-Wire Targets
The list of notable tight ends who are on this week's injury report is pretty much limited to Colts tight end Tyler Warren and Jets rookie Kenyon Sadiq, who are both questionable. However, Sam LaPorta and T.J. Hockenson are on bye.
Managers who need a fill-in at tight end this week should consider Pittsburgh's Pat Freiermuth. The Steelers' injuries at wide receiver should make him a go-to option in Week 6, and he's coming off a 21.5-point performance in Week 6.
Freiermuth will also face a Buccaneers defense that has surrendered an average of 12.7 fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season. He's rostered in 48 percent of leagues.
The list of sleeper tight ends who may still be available this week also includes Tyler Higbee, Brenton Strange, Chigoziem Okonkwo, and Oronde Gadsden II.
