Iheanacho

Fenerbahçe are targeting a January move for Bursaspor striker Kelechi Iheanacho, DAILY POST reports.

Iheanacho, who joined Bursaspor on a free transfer this summer has grabbed the headlines for his impressive start to life in Turkey.

The Nigeria international has scored 16 goals and registered three assists in 12 league appearances for the Green Crocodiles.

The 30-year-old's scintillating form has caught the eye of Fenerbahçe, who are now considering a January swoop for the striker, according to Turkish news outlet HT Spor.

Fenerbahçe, who are aiming to challenge Istanbul rivals, Galatasaray for the title, this season are targeting more firepower upfront.

The Yellow Canaries currently sit in fifth position on the Turkish Super Lig table with 16 points from nine matches.

Former handler of the team İsmail Kartal left his role this week following the derby defeat to Galatasaray.

Former Liverpool winger Dirk Kuyt will be in charge of the team on an interim basis pending the appointment of a substantive head coach.
