Michael Carrick is expected to remain in charge of Manchester United for Sunday’s Premier League meeting with Bournemouth, despite the club beginning the process of looking for a new head coach.
The decision follows a damaging 4-1 Champions League defeat by Como, a result that has increased pressure on Carrick’s position as manager of the Red Devils.
However, BBC reports that Carrick has not been informed of any imminent dismissal and will oversee Manchester United’s next match at the weekend.
