The Black Maidens will be aiming to bounce back from defeat in their opening match of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup campaign when they face Brazil on Wednesday, October 21, at the Mohammed VI Football Academy in Morocco.

The Group C encounter, which kicks off at 18:00 GMT, represents a defining moment for the Maidens' tournament hopes.

Coach Joe Nana Adarkwa's side suffered a 3-0 defeat to Norway in their opening fixture. The result leaves Ghana third in the group with zero points, while Brazil sit atop the standings after victory over Canada.

The clash with the South Americans offers the Black Maidens a chance to prove their resilience on the world stage and reignite their World Cup journey.

A positive result against Brazil is crucial to build momentum ahead of their final Group C fixture against Canada on Saturday, October 24.

The team will be aiming to turn their efforts into points and get their campaign back on track.
