Bruno Fernandes has changed his routine outside Manchester United’s training base by stopping to meet supporters, after facing criticism for questioning Michael Carrick’s tactics.
The Portugal midfielder publicly expressed doubts about Carrick’s approach in an interview following Manchester United’s 4-1 defeat by Como in the Champions League. His comments led some fans to turn against him.
However, according to The Sun, Fernandes has since begun stopping his car more frequently near the club’s base to sign autographs and pose for photographs with supporters waiting outside.
Previously, the midfielder, known for his busy schedule and direct manner, would generally drive past the fans without stopping.
Manchester United’s next match is against Chelsea on 31 October.
