Matt Sharman’s side will compete in PGA Division One for the first time in the Academy’s history after finishing inside the top five of the Southern Division during the first phase of the competition.

Our opening game of Division One will see our youngsters make the short trip across the capital to take on Chelsea this Sunday (18 October) before hosting Bristol City in their first home fixture on Wednesday 21 October.

Following an impressive start to the 2026/27 campaign, where we went unbeaten in our opening five games across all competitions, we finished fifth in the first phase of the competition, picking up nine points in six league games.

Competing alongside our Under-19s and Chelsea in Division One will be Manchester United, Liverpool, Birmingham City, Aston Villa, Manchester City, Sunderland, Arsenal and Brighton & Hove Albion.

Alongside the PGA League, our young side remain in the FA Women’s National League Cup, where they set to face Bridgwater United on Sunday 1 November, and will also compete in the PGA Plate after Wednesday’s defeat to Arsenal in the determining round of the PGA Cup saw the Gunners progress in the cup phase.
