Our longest Champions League unbeaten away runs

However the ongoing run is our second-longest in our European history, behind a 12-game streak between April 2019 and April 2021 (W9 D3), all coming in the Europa League.

The draw in Munich also means we haven’t been beaten in the group/league phase of the competition since a controversial 1-0 loss at Inter Milan on November 6, 2024, comprising of 14 straight victories and the latest draw.

Only between November 2003 and September 2006 have we had a longer unbeaten run in the first stage of the competition, when we hit 17, winning 12 of those games under Arsene Wenger. Only five other clubs have enjoyed a better run:

Longest unbeaten runs in Champions Leagye group/league phase

Meanwhile, should we avoid defeat in our next two Champions League outings against Slavia Prague and Borussia Dortmund, we would move into the top three longest unbeaten runs in the competition’s history (not including penalty shootout defeats).
